Refund & Return Policy

At Scentora Fragrances, we want you to love every scent you receive. If there's any issue with your order, we’ll make it right. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our obligations.
1. Eligibility for Return
You may request a return within 5 days of delivery if one of the following applies:

The product is damaged or defective

We sent the wrong item
Returns or refunds are not accepted if:

The perfume bottle has been opened, or used, even slightly (for hygiene reasons)

The seal or packaging is broken

The issue is due to misuse or handling after delivery

The scent is “not as expected” (fragrance preference is subjective)
2. How to Request a Return / Refund

Contact our Customer Support via email at support@scentorafragrances.in (or via the contact form on our website) within 5 days of receiving your order. Please include:

Order number

Product name(s)

A picture of the damaged/defective/wrong item

Photo of the packaging, if relevant

Our team will evaluate the claim. If approved, we’ll send instructions for the return shipping (we may arrange pick-up or ask you to ship back).
3. Return Process Details

The product must be returned in its original condition, with packaging intact (unless the damage makes packaging unusable).

Shipping charges for return are borne by us (Scentora) if the return is due to our error or faulty product. If eligibility is not due to our fault (e.g. change of mind, scent preference), return will not be accepted.
4. Replacement or Refund

Once we receive and inspect the returned product & confirm eligibility, we will offer a replacement.

If the replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Refund excludes original shipping charges (unless the return was due to our mistake).
5. Non-returnable Items
The following are non-returnable / non-refundable:

Opened / used perfume bottles

Broken seal or tampered packaging

Perfumes where the scent differs due to personal preference
6. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund.

Once the product has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible; you must wait for delivery and then follow the return policy if eligible.
7. Refund Timeline
Once we have approved your return:

Replacement orders are dispatched as soon as processing completes (usually within 3–5 days).

Refunds are issued within 7–10 business days after we receive the returned product.
8. Your Rights Under Indian Law

Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you are entitled to correct disclosures about the product, fair treatment in case of defective/wrong items, and timely refunds.
